Terms of service

The plain-language terms behind every estimate and job.

Who we are

Cape Coral Roofing Co. is a locally operated roofing service for Cape Coral and Lee County, Florida. Roofing work is performed by Florida-licensed roofing contractors carrying general liability and workers' compensation insurance; the license number and a certificate of insurance are provided on request before work begins. See our referral marketing disclosure for how projects are assigned.

Estimates and inspections

Roof inspections are free. Estimates are itemized and valid for 30 days. Prices on this website are typical 2026 Lee County ranges for planning only; your written estimate governs.

Insurance claims

Where work is paid in part by an insurance claim, the homeowner files and controls the claim and remains the policyholder. We document damage, meet the adjuster at the owner's request and build to the approved scope. We do not solicit claims, pay, waive or rebate deductibles, offer anything of value for a claim, act as a public adjuster, or accept assignment of benefits, consistent with Florida Statutes 489.147 and 627.7152.

Permits and approvals

Where a permit is required, it is obtained under the roofing contractor's license and listed on the estimate; work is scheduled after issuance. Homeowner-association and architectural-review approvals are the owner's responsibility; we supply the samples and specifications the committee asks for.

Contracts, deposits and payment

Work begins on a signed written agreement. A deposit at signing covers materials ordered to your roof; the balance is due on completion after the final inspection passes. Financing, when used, is approved before work starts. Nothing is paid to crews on site.

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties are registered in the owner's name and have their own terms. The workmanship warranty is stated on the agreement. Warranties do not cover damage from storms beyond the roof's rated performance, from other trades, or from unpermitted alterations.

Scheduling and weather

Roofing is weather-dependent; dates are targets. We do not open a roof when rain is forecast within the working window, and we dry in every day.

Disputes

Florida law applies. Complaints go first to us in writing; we'd rather fix it than argue about it. Contractor licensing complaints may be made to the Florida DBPR.
