How fast can you come?
Same day, usually within a few hours, for a single-home emergency. After a named storm, tarps go on in the order calls come in, worst damage first, usually within a day or two once the roads are open.
Do you charge extra at night?
The tarp and dry-in prices above are the same day or night. There's no surcharge for the hour; there is a real cost to fastening a tarp that holds, and that's what you're paying for.
Will the tarp damage my roof?
Not the way we fasten it. Battens and cap nails through the tarp into the deck leave holes that get covered by the permanent repair. Sandbags and rope slide off; screws through tile crack it.
Should I call my insurance company first?
Get the water stopped first — that's what your policy expects you to do. Photograph everything, keep the receipt for the tarp, and decide about a claim when you can see the roof in daylight. We'll give you the photos and a written report either way.
Can you fix it permanently that night?
Small things, yes — a boot, a few tiles, a flashing. Anything bigger gets dried in and assessed properly in daylight so we fix the cause and not the symptom.
